Phase 2 B – Roofing

Obviously, a very important phase of new construction is the roofing, in order to protect the house from the weather. We use quality materials in every job we do, and our superior craftsmanship is evident in this phase of the project.

After the underlayment was installed, the shingles and other roof materials were delivered. We then installed aluminum drip edge, flashing, ice shield and premium water proof air permeable felt. These items prevent water penetration into the structure. The next step was to install the shingles. In this instance, we used premium 40 yr. Dimensional Lifetime warranted shingles to insure many years of maintenance free and worry free satisfaction.

Ventilation is also a key component and consideration of any quality roof installation. As such, Spectrum only uses premium ridge ventilation in conjunction with premium soffit ventilation which allows air flow above the insulation during the life of the structure.
