Bedrooms – Completion

When anyone imagines a bedroom, they consider it to be a totally private area where you can do what ever you want to relax and unwind.

This project quite naturally afforded this homeowner the astonishing lake view to be sure, however the view is made that much more spectacular because during the design phase, the decision was made to locate the Master bedroom with an Eastern exposure overlooking the lake, and to enjoy the amazing Michigan sunrises that have graced all of us at one time or another.

To augment the bedroom experience, the carpet installed was an 83 oz. per yard plush nylon carpet over an 8 lb. rebound premium padding, which not only is like walking on the most comfortable floor possible, but it also deadens sound. As stated earlier on the insulation page 3B, all of the bedroom, bathroom walls have been insulated with premium sound insulation product to make the room even more quiet for sleeping.
